What is Shred JYM?
Making considerable changes on the outside entails making considerable changes on the inside. Using supplements in obtaining this goal can be distilled down into a science. That’s what Shred JYM is formulated to do.
Shred JYM supports fat reduction in body mass, so that there is more lean muscle and much less fat. The main ingredient is Acetyl-L-carnitine which assists in the production of energy by intrinsically affecting the muscles, the brain, and the heart.
The ingredients of Shred JYM are designed to work together and it is formulated to act in three main steps:
- Enhances fat release on a cellular level
- Moves released fat into cells’ mitochondria (mainly in the liver)
- Ramps-up metabolism and cognition
Caffeine and synephrine work together during the release process, then Acetyl-L-carnitine aids in getting the freed-up fat into the cells to use as energy (that’s where workout time is important). Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) found in green tea is combined with cayenne pepper extract, and capsaicin to also help in keeping ones metabolism revved up for greater impact, even after the exercise session stops.
The benefits include a leaner, more efficient and attractive body to enhance self-esteem, health, and general nutrition. Some individuals have reported clarity in thinking as well and a lack of jitteriness that caffeine can sometimes cause.
How to Take Shred JYM
Shred JYM comes in bottles of 240 capsules, and costs between 30-40 dollars per bottle, which lasts a month, and is considered reasonable for this type of product. It is recommended that users take 4 capsules twice a day; once first thing in the early morning before eating, and once before working out. Shred JYM suppresses hunger, so taking it on an empty stomach will help to limit food intake at meal time, especially for those folks who tend to overeat. This does not mean it is unsafe or forbidden to take it with meals, as it will work either way, but it is most effective when taken between meals.
Who Makes Shred JYM?
Jim Stoppani is well respected among body builders. He was educated at the University of Connecticut and Yale University School of Medicine. He studied biochemistry and earned a doctorate in exercise physiology. His main research direction was in how exercise and diet effected gene regulation in muscle tissue. He both formulates and distributes Shred JYM as the owner of JYM Supplement Science.
What Are the Ingredients in Shred JYM?
According to the label, in each dose, there are 1500 milligrams (mg) of acetyl-L-carnitine, followed by 500 mg of green tea extract (supports the longevity of the neurotransmitter, norepinephrine). Next, there are 200 mg of caffeine and 500 mg of L-tyrosine (this stabilizes mood and alertness). Finally, there are 50 mg and 20 mg of Capsimax® Cayenne pepper extract and Advantra Z® synephrine, respectfully (mainly to control hunger urges). Other Ingredients listed on the label include silica, magnesium stearate, rice flour and gelatin.
What are the side effects of Shred JYM?
The prime ingredient, Acetyl-L-carnitine, has no overarching side effects except that some individuals have reported it can cause stomach upset. Technically, it can also produce a fishy smell of body fluids; however, this later effect is quite rare, and no users have reported this. The amount of caffeine in the product seemed to concern a few users, but most of the reviews were extremely positive.
Ephedra was banned in the United States by the FDA in 2004 because of concerns about heightened blood pressure levels and circulatory stress, although it minimized hunger fairly well. Since that time, citrus aurantium, which contains several compounds including synephrine alkaloids, has been suggested as a safe alternative. Synephrine, when combined with caffeine tend to work together to control hunger, and unlike Ephedra, have no reported side-effects in moderate to low doses.
Shred JYM User Reviews
One a scale of 0-10, this product consistently rated in the 8-9 range. Many men currently taking this product report that they are happy with the results. The main concern was that a few people reported developing digestive distress. It is likely that certain people are more sensitive to the main ingredient, Acetyl-L-carnitine, which is known to cause stomach upset and in some cases, nausea in high doses. Most users did not complain about this side effect. Many reviews mentioned that this product was impressive because there was no “crash” effect like what occurs with some stimulates. The majority of negative reviewers stated that taking eight capsules per day was excessive, and this constituted a negative for them in using this product.
Is Shred JYM Worth Buying?
This product appears to be worthwhile. Many users reported being repeat buyers, saying that this formula makes them feel alert, and that their fat to muscle ratios have improved anywhere from after a month to within a year of using it. Weight loss has been moderate to considerable, especially over a long-range plan to get in better shape and judging from where individuals begin. Some men are in fairly good shape to start out, and just want to fine-tune their bodies; while others want a more dramatic overhaul. Either way, with proper eating and exercise, results have been positive.
